JHS Sports Achievers: November 2024



We are pleased to share the soft copy of the local newspaper recognising and celebrating Yuvaan Gupta from Advanced Fundamentals - Orchid for his remarkable achievement as an early bicycle rider. He has been riding bicycles without balance wheels since he was 20 months old, showcasing a rare and exceptional talent.

 


We are happy to announce that Jain Heritage School students had participated in the Jain International Residential School (JIRS) Inter school tournament of Basketball, Swimming & Table Tennis held on 28th of November, 2024.

We are extremely happy to inform you that Sharan S of Grade 9 displayed incredible performance in 68th National School Games 2024-25 conducted by the School Games Federation of India, which was held between 24th to 30th of November 2024 at Sardar Patel Swimming Pool, Rajkot, Gujarat.

The following are the results of various events in the above competition:

- 400M FREESTYLE EVENT - I PLACE - GOLD (NEW NATIONAL SWIM MEET RECORD)
- 200M FREESTYLE EVENT - I PLACE – GOLD
- 100M FREESTYLE EVENT - I PLACE – GOLD

Sharan has bagged a total of 3 Gold Medals in this competition and created a new National Meet record in 400M Freestyle Event by completing the race in 4:21:62

We are happy to announce that JHS has secured the 1st Prize in Cookery and dumb charades at Isckon Heritage Interschool Fest.

We are pleased to announce that Sharan S of Grade 9 performed extremely well in the 3rd State Mini Olympics 2024 (Karnataka), a State Level Swim Meet held on the 15th and 16th of November at Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre, Bengaluru.

Sharan has secured a total of 4 Gold & 4 Silver Medals in various events and was adjudged as 'INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP' for his Incredible performance.

We are happy to announce that the JAIN Heritage School Under-13 Cricket team emerged champions in the 8th Greenfield Zest Cricket Tournament, organised by Greenfield Public School, Jakkur, Bangalore. The tournament was held from November 21st to 23rd, 2024.

In the finals, JHS won the toss and elected to bowl first against Vydhehi School of Excellence. JHS bowlers performed well with the ball and restricted opponents to 67 runs by claiming 6 wickets.

- Star performers from JHS with the balling are Shaunak V, Samrat Aditya, Prathap Shetty, and Prithvi Pradeep, and took one wicket each.

- Chasing 68 runs to win, JHS captain Samrat Aditya scored 29 from 25 balls and Akshobhya Hebbal scored 32 from 29 balls.

- Arya Raj was adjudged “Best Batsman of the Tournament” for scoring highest runs of 147 in three matches.

We are happy to announce that Rajsi Rajendra Takale (Grade 10) and Rutvij Rajendra Takale (Grade 5), recently participated in the 2024 ITF Taekwon-do World Cup championship held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (2-8 Nov 2024).

Both of them have successfully represented Team India, bringing great pride to the nation and to our school. They have bagged silver medals along with diploma certificates.

Yaduvir. A from Advanced Fundamentals - Tulip has secured second prize in the Tenacity Skate Competition held in Greenfield Public School on November 23, 2024.

Neerav B. Beliya of Pre-fundamental Tulip has been honoured as the Best Goalkeeper in the Children’s Day special match for the under 5 years group which was held at Blues Football Academy. This remarkable achievement makes Neerav the first goalkeeper to receive this accolade at this academy, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication.

Jaasritha R of Grade 3 has won the First Prize in the Bhagavad Gita Shloka Chanting at Iskcon Heritage Interschool Fest.

Yashika Sunkara of grade 6 has won the First Prize in Painting and special performer in the Pencil Shading competition at Iskcon Heritage Interschool Fest. Her performance has been consistent and this is the 3rd time in a row that he has won in this competition.

We are happy to announce that Yashi Babel, Ananya Gupta of Grade 9 and Stuti Chakroborty of Grade 7 were selected for the CBSE Regional Science Exhibition, conducted at Venkat International Public School on the 19th & 20th of November 2024.

It is the third consecutive time that he has won this competition, demonstrating his consistent performance.

Tushar Palankar S.S of Grade 8F participated in the OCTAVIO FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT conducted by Octavio Football Academy, Electronic City, Bangalore on 27th November, 2024. He has represented the Titans club. He had performed extremely well taking up the role of Center Back Position and stood as Runner-up in this tournament.

Sai Sripradha S Raju of Grade 8F secured III place in the ITF Taekwondo world cup competition in the Sparing Girls event in the 12-13 Years category in the 60+ age category held on 7th November 2024 at Bangalore.
