JHS Sports Achievers: May 2025

Avyukth of Grade 6 performed well in Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Invitational Boxing championship held on 5 th & 6 th of May, 2025 in the 64 - 67 kg weight category and secured Gold Medal in the CUBS Category.

Shrey Devaiah of Grade 10 participated in NRJ state Mock Swimming competition held at Basavangudi Aquatic center on 30 th & 31 st May, 2025. He performed well in this competition and won 2 gold Medals in 50 M Breast stroke and 100M Breaststroke events.

Lakshmi Aashritha of Grade 7 participated in the Invitational Table Tennis tournament conducted by Bangalore Urban District Table Tennis Association held at PONG SMASHERS TABLE TENNIS ACADEMY, Jayanagar on 16th & 17th of May, 2025 and secured III place in the Individual event.

Mr. Satyajit, Table Tennis coach of JAIN Heritage School performed extremely well in Ravi Narayan Memorial State Ranking Masters Table Tennis tournament in 40+ age category conducted by Pong Smashers Table Tennis Tournament held on 25 th May, 2025 and secured III place in this competition.

D.C.SIDESH, of Grade 9, participated in the HWA RANG WARRIOR GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP 2025, which was held from 1st to 4th May 2025 at SHAH ALAM SPORTS COMPLEX, SELANGOR, MALAYSIA, ORGANISED BY TAEKWONDO ITF SELANGOR,HWA RANG ACADEMY. 1817 participants from 6 countries participated in this competition.

D.C.SIDESH HAS WON THE FOLLOWING MEDALS:

1.GOLD MEDAL - INDIVIDUAL SPARRING (MALE WARRIOR) COMPETITION ,HEAVY CATEGORY.

2.GOLD MEDAL - INDIVIDUAL SPARRING (ULTIMATE WARRIOR) COMPETITION ,HEAVY CATEGORY.

3.BRONZE MEDAL - INDIVIDUAL PATTERNS (ULTIMATE WARRIOR) COMPETITION .

4.SPECIAL EVENT “THE SUPREME WARRIOR “ -QUALIFIED TILL QUARTER FINALS.

Rutvij Rajendra Takale of grade 6C had represented the team INDIA at the *'Hwa Rang Warrior Grand Championship'* which was held in *Selangor, Malaysia* , between 1st to 4th April 2025 and he has secured a Silver and a Bronze medal in this prestigious international event.
