Inauguration of the New Sports Complex “KREEDA” & Annual Investiture Ceremony

Jain Heritage School , a member of Jain Group of Institutions unveiled its sports facilities. Mr. Brijesh Patel, Hon. Secretary, Karnataka State Cricket Association inaugurated the Sports Complex “KREEDA”.
“KREEDA” comprises:
MATSYA - 8 lane Olympic size Swimming Pool with gallery for more than 400 spectators
LAANA - Synthetic Tennis Court
SHIKYA - Synthetic Basketball Court
PATALA - TheTable Tennis Centre
PHAALAKAA - Cricket Field turf with practice pitches
GULISHANKU - Billiards & Snooker
UDHYATA - Fitness Centre with multipurpose halls
Also present at the occasion were Mr. Neelakanta Rao Jagdale, President, Karnataka Swimming Federation, Mr. Vijay Raghavan, Vice-President, Karnataka Swimming Federation, Ms. Nisha Millet, Former International Olympic Swimmer, Mr. R Chenraj Jain, Chairman, Jain Group of Institutions, Ms. Archana Vishwanath, Principal, Jain Heritage School, Ms. Aparna Prasad, Head, HR & Corporate Communications, JGI, Mr. MS Parswanath, Head, Facilities Management, JGI, students, parents and members of staff.
Mr. Brijesh Patel congratulated Mr. R Chenraj Jain for the idea of integrating education and sports. He spoke about the importance of creating champions with good quality administration.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Neelkanta Rao Jagdale said, “ Jain Heritage School has provided the best facilities and infrastructure that can benefit students. Parents should be committed since they have a major role to play in building a child’s career. Sports will always be the greatest insurance that can be gifted to a child. The integration of sports and academics at Jain Heritage School will definitely set a model for all schools in the state.”
Leadership is an influence which would be practiced for the benefit of the followers. The Investiture Ceremony of the prefectorial body 2009-10 was also held today at the school premises. It was a pleasure to see the young, bright, enthusiastic students stepping up to shoulder the responsibilities. The badges were handed over to the newly elected leaders by the Chief Guest.
