Karate Belt Grading Test
14th February 2011
The following students of Jain Heritage School were selected to participate in the Belt Grading Test in Karate in the school campus on 14th Feb 2011. This was the first time a grading test in karate was conducted for the students at JHS. Mr.Praveen Ranka, Chairman of the Martial Art Trust, along with Mr.Prasanna and Mr.Sunil (School coach) conducted the test for the students. The test included the basic skills of karate like punches, blocks and katas. The students performed different skills on karate.
At the end of the test, the meritorious students were awarded with belts & certificates. Out of 27 students, two students Adoksh Vishwanath & Vishnu Shakti Shankar of Advance Fundamentals received Orange belt and the others Yellow belts. Our school Principal Mrs. Archana Vishwanath gave away the certificates & belts to the students.
