Visit to Parle Biscuit Factory

The students of Primary section of “Jain Heritage School visited “Parle Biscuit Factory” at Tumkur road on 24thMarch 2011.
After reaching the destination children were first made to sit in an Auditorium to watch a movie about the history of Parle products, how it was established by Mr. Narottam Chouhan in 1928 in Mumbai and slowly became an international brand, and also how the mouthwatering biscuits and chocolates which we all relish to eat are manufactured.
After the movie, the children were taken around the factory to see in real how the biscuits and chocolates are manufactured.
Then finally, when the students were departing from the factory, they had a pleasant surprise when each one of them were given biscuits and candies as a token.
It was altogether a very astonishing experience for the students, as well as a very memorable one. |
